About Charene

Charene is a California native. Born and raised in Chico. She moved to the San Francisco East Bay in 1989. After a 13-year career as a surgical assistant and encouragement from a good friend who was a loan broker, she made the change to real estate in 1999. Just as in surgery, her caring and compassion for what she does is reflected by her professionalism and attention to detail. This is done by helping people reach their goals, by explaining each and every step and making sure they obtain a great result.

It didn’t take long for her passion for helping people have a positive experience with their real estate needs, to become successful in the field, rising to the top of the selling agents in her office and quickly becoming a force in her targeted area. She has representing buyers and sellers in nearly 150 transactions and close to $70 million in sales. 

Charene was the number one single selling agent in Keller Williams’ Walnut Creek office (200+ agents) in 2003. She received both gold and bronze level awards in recognition of top sales. She gave back to the industry by serving on the Agent Leadership Counsel (only available to the top 20% of agents) and mentoring new agents.

Her career moved her to Re/Max Accord in Lafayette where she continued to excel and received sales awards and recognition for being one of the top agents in the office.

Charene moved to El Dorado Hills in 2008 and took some time while the kids were younger to focus on family. Once the kids were older, she was able to rekindle her passion for real estate and get back in the business.

Charene loves outdoor activities and generally just staying active. She runs marathons, is an avid hiker, holds a black belt in Taekwondo and cycles, both on the road and on trails. She enjoys photography, movies, reading, and baking and had a cupcake bakery for a short time in Cameron Park in 2012. She is a member of the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team.
